November 30, 2015 in KNUE them. S.Kuznets held celebrations to mark the opening of the new school building and the eighty-fifth anniversary of the university. University congratulated the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrei Gevko, Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Igor Rainin, Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional Council Sergey Chernov, Rectors Kharkov’s universities, representatives of city and regional administration.
Opening of a new academic building began with the traditional ribbon cutting. Honorable delegations, government officials, media representatives and guests had the opportunity to inspect the new seven-story academic building. Construction of the academic building started in October 2011 laying a capsule in the foundation of the building. The capsule placed requests for future generations, who will study in KNUE them.
