"Techno Trends Meetup" as a part of the trainings cycle within the Kharkiv IT Unicorns project in Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics.

The first workshop named “Techno Trends Meetup” as a part of the trainings cycle within the Kharkiv IT Unicorns project was held on February 9, 2017.
The motivational meeting with students was conducted with the purpose to update their ideas from the technical aspect, to improve the level of the proposed start-up projects.
The introductory remarks concerning the whole project and the activities of the IT cluster were made by Vinogradskaya Natalia – the project coordinator of Kharkiv IT Unicorns, and Iryna Zolotaryova – the Head of the joint French-Ukrainian master’s program MBA “Business Informatics”.
The interesting examples and trends in the use of modern technologies in railway transport have been given in the report “Meeting the trends” by Ivan Seroklin – Associate Professor of Department of Information&Management Systems and Technology of Ukrainian State University of Railway Transport.
The modern innovative technologies in the IT were reviewed by Sergey Bulba – postgraduate student of Computer Engineering and Programming Department of National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnical Institute.
The key speaker of the event was Vitaly Stavropolskyi, VP of Product @ CloudLinux with the “Value proposition” training.
Training was focused on two main blocks of Business Model Canvas: target segments and value proposition.
The following aspects were considered: what is the customer segments; approaches to the definition of consumer segments and their needs; what means the value proposition; ways of formation and describe the value proposition; how to create a value proposition to the target segment; how to define functional and non-functional requirements for the product.
Vitaly Stavropolsky invited the students to develop a value proposition of their own projects using the tool:

From his side, Vitaly Stavropolsky promised to give feedback to the participants who will make efforts in the description of the values of their projects.
